They say a picture paints a thousand words. Well, this one truly did. With a lump in my throat, I am reminded of the amazing Community Action Trust team we have on the ground in Zimbabwe who selflessly collect and deliver, our few loyal supporters here in the diaspora who always respond when we ask, and our hardworking fundraising teams who have to fight for a small piece of the pie as donor fatigue and fundraising event saturation sets in. We continue diligently to do what we do with very limited resources, but the joy this picture brought more than makes up for the sleepless nights worrying about how we will sustain this program.
